I like considering the year past and what I can do to improve the year to come. Woody Guthrie managed with just a lined sheet of paper, but I'm all fancy like with a Passion Planner and Evernote. I'd love to hear what you use, and how you're planning out 2022.

Avital's and other small, handmade businesses are a lot like that small group fighting back. If we went along with the flow, we would be outsourcing our production to a co-packer, maybe even offshore. We would look for the cheapest packaging, not the most Earth-friendly. We would be cutting corners on ingredients and hoping no one noticed or cared. But we do care, a lot!

Winter in this part of the world is tough: cold, gray, short days. But if you have an affectionate, four-legged workout parter, it can really help.
