I like considering the year past and what I can do to improve the year to come. Woody Guthrie managed with just a lined sheet of paper, but I'm all fancy like with a Passion Planner and Evernote. I'd love to hear what you use, and how you're planning out 2022.

Avital's is introducing a subscription service that aims to be maximally flexible, convenient, and helpful for all of fans.

We have new photos and a refreshed website. They aren't just new pictures. We want to capture the essence of Avital's: creative, scrappy people who get things done, even when times are challenging. Everyday things don't have to be mundane. Every product we choose can elevate our lives: though aesthetics like color and scent and design or through eco-friendliness, or through the business practices of the company that makes it. 

Happy Hanukkah!  Avital's and other small, handmade businesses are a lot like that small group fighting back. If we went along with the flow, we would be outsourcing our production to a co-packer, maybe even offshore. We would look for the cheapest packaging, not the most Earth-friendly. We would be cutting corners on ingredients and hoping no one noticed or cared. But we do care, a lot!
